There has been fantastic progress on site at OLA Kindergarten Centre of Excellence over the past week. The base for the water storage tanks for two of the three classrooms has been built. The water storage tanks are an important feature of the sustainable kindergarten design, as they form part of the rainwater harvesting system and ultimately provide water that is potable and can be used for washing, cooking and cleaning. In preparation for making the roof trusses, a shed has been built on site to provide shade and shelter for our carpenters. We were also delighted to have Antoine Campbell with us, a volunteer from AECOM who has been a huge help on site.
