Last week was the turn of our KG2 teachers to attend the second Intensive Training Workshop of the year. This workshop introduced the KG2 Ullo Phonics programme and the new theme, All About Me. Our favourite part of the workshop was hearing the many success stories from the teachers about the introduction of the Ullo Phonics programme last year. It is clear that the KG1 programme has provided the children with a strong foundation with which to continue their phonics this year. The teachers have seen their children progress further with their reading and writing than ever before and we cannot wait to see what they are able to achieve by the end of this year.

We were also delighted to receive a visit from the new Cape Coast Director of Education, Mrs Florence Inkoom.This was a great motivation for our teachers and already it is clear she will be a great advocate of the programme.
