Our youngest supporters, the Strand Spartans, a fantastic 5-aside football team, have blown us away with all of their amazing fundraising efforts. Before Christmas they came up with one of the most innovative fundraising ideas we have seen so far, the recording of their very own charity Christmas Single, Strand Aid. Unfortunately it didn’t make it to Christmas #1 but we thought it was pretty amazing, and such a fun way to raise money.

One of our favourite parts of Strand Aid was hearing the Spartans sharing why they are raising money for Sabre. The single raised a staggering £1,406 so a massive congratulations to the whole team for showing that you really are #kidshelpingkids. The money raised will help the very youngest Ghanaians get a brighter start to their education. Medaase pa pa pa (thank you very much).
