We are delighted that so many of the student teachers have kept in close contact with us as they start their new roles as Newly Qualified Teachers in charge of their own classrooms. The Newly Qualified Teachers have faced a variety of challenges when arriving at their new schools, however they have not let this stop them from implementing the programme as best as they can.
One teacher has only a shaded outside area to use as her classroom. However, she has created learning centres, a self registration chart and displayed an alphabet frieze even though this must all be packed away at the end of every day. The rain has also been a challenge but the classroom is quickly packed away and set up again once it has passed. We are thrilled to see such dedication and we are sure the children love coming to school every day as a result.
