Sabre Education is proud to announce that we have been selected as part of the first cohort of the Gender Equitable School Leadership (GESL) Alliance, led by Global School Leaders, with support from Echidna Giving.

The GESL Alliance brings together education organisations across Ghana and Kenya to strengthen gender-focused school leadership, promote inclusive practices, and generate actionable insights that can support policy change within national education systems.

Through this partnership, Sabre Education will develop and deliver training for low-fee private school leaders focused on creating gender-equitable classrooms and school policies. This training will be integrated into Sabre’s existing leadership development offer and delivered as part of our wider teacher training programme.

By embedding gender equity within school leadership, the programme aims to support safer, more inclusive learning environments where all children, regardless of gender can thrive.

Alongside fellow Alliance partners, Sabre will contribute to shared learning, evidence generation and cross-country collaboration, helping to strengthen education ecosystems and inform national approaches to inclusive school leadership.

We are grateful to Global School Leaders and Echidna Giving for the opportunity to be part of this inaugural cohort and look forward to learning alongside organisations working to advance gender equity in education across the region.
