As well as showcasing our teachers we cannot forget the great work that our headteachers do. They are essential for the successful implementation of the programme by monitoring and encouraging our teachers.
Our first headteacher of the week is Mrs Dorothy S. Ntow from OLA Presby School. We have chosen Dorothy as she represents one of our most committed headteachers- always attending workshops, contributes well and monitors the implementation of the programme in her school. We spoke to Dorothy to find out what makes her so committed.
“I love the Sabre programme and am always at the training sessions. This is so because what we are learning is helping the Kindergarten children learn through play and is fun. My favourite part of the day is the phonics session.”
It is excellent to hear that the headteachers are recognising that the children are learning through the different activities and opportunities for play and we are sure that Dorothy’s pupils will progress greatly with their learning over the school year.
