The second Top Up Training of the year came to a successful end on Friday and was attended by all teachers, head teachers and Ghana Education Service officers. This one-day workshop introduced the participants to the next themes, My Home My Community for KG1 and My Country Ghana for KG2, as well as the skills needed for facilitating play in their classrooms and how to use questioning to develop children’s play. The workshop also covered key literacy skills for the kindergarten classrooms, including how to develop children’s language skills.

The implementation of the new skills and materials introduced during this training will be monitored by the OLA College of Education trainers during the upcoming In Class Coaching, which will be able to address any possible challenges.

We would like to say a big congratulations to the Fast track Transformational Teacher Training team and OLA trainers for bringing to a close another successful training workshop, and medaase pa pa pa (thank you very much) to the participants for all of their excellent contributions during the workshop.
