Asebu District Model Kindergarten School in the Central Region saw a significant enrolment increase shortly after it was opened. To support the extra demand we are working on Phase 2, which is providing an extension with two more classrooms, associated toilets and a shaded outside teaching area.

Great progress has been made since our last update in June. The following key activities have taken place:

Classroom Block

The external end walls have been clad using tongue and grove.

Inside the classrooms the partition walls have been clad with boards which were treated against termites and the harsh weather conditions.

 Toilet

The ground slab has been cast.

The walkway in front of the toilets has been cast.

Rain water harvesting system and school site

The concrete base that supports the poly tanks which hold rain water have been cast.

Grass planting is underway.
