Sabre Education is pleased to share a new blog published by Bond and authored by our Executive Director, Tony Dzidzinyo Kwesi Dogbe, titled “Scaling within the system: what can be learnt from Ghana’s early years transformation.”
In the article, Tony reflects on Ghana’s journey towards nationally scaling play-based kindergarten teacher training, drawing on Sabre’s two decades of partnership with the Government of Ghana. He outlines four essential lessons for organisations seeking to scale sustainably within government systems:

- Secure flexible funding that allows programmes to adapt as they grow.

Tony highlights how Ghana’s progress illustrates what is possible when evidence, collaboration and system alignment come together. A programme that began as a pilot is now informing a government-led effort to bring play-based learning to every public kindergarten classroom in the country.
