HundrED recognises Sabre Education’s impact on play-based learning in Ghana
We are honoured and delighted that Sabre Education’s Early Years Play-Based Teacher Training has been named in the HundrED Global Collection 2026, joining 100 of the world’s most impactful and scalable innovations in education.

HundrED’s annual Global Collection highlights evidence-based practices transforming education around the world. Sabre’s inclusion reflects our longstanding partnership with the Government of Ghana to embed play-based learning in every kindergarten classroom — training over 6,000 teachers and supporting more than 360,000 children to learn through play.
Crucially, the recognition also celebrates Sabre’s work to scale play-based teacher training nationally, supporting the Government’s plans to reach over 30,000 teachers and 1.2 million children each year with quality, play-based education.
“We are grateful to be recognised as part of this year’s Global Collection. It’s an opportunity to celebrate our work, but more importantly, share Ghana’s bold vision for every child to have a quality play-based education.”
