We had the first ever ‘Best Practice Forum’ last week. This forum was meant for sharing Best Practices in each classroom. It turned out to be a very positive and successful event as the team was thrilled by some of the innovative ideas the teachers are implementing in their classroom. Phonics songs for instance are being used as signals for transition, ‘butterfly slider’ for encouraging positive behaviour has been adapted to suit individual schools to make it more effective.
We are hoping to introduce the ‘Best Practice Forum’ as a programme component in term two and three to replace the ‘Cluster Meetings’.
