This month we held the first Best Practice Forum for teachers on our Fast-track Transformational Teacher Training project in the Western Region. The Best Practice Forum provides an opportunity for teachers to come together and share their innovations and additions to the programme.

It was a really successful day and we were thrilled to see so much creativity.

Teachers gave presentations on their best practices and informed the group how they developed their selected item or practice, how it is used and the learning objectives behind it.

Teachers were able to learn a lot from each other and hear about all the activities happening in each other’s classrooms.

Despite this being their first time the teachers were confident in presenting their best practices and showed some real innovative in using local materials to create wonderful classroom resources.

Ayekoo (well done) to all the teachers!
