• Volunteer Senior Education Advisor

I was first introduced to the Sabre Trust’s work when I attended the opening of the Ayensudo kindergarten building while on a visit to Ghana. I was hooked, and offered to do anything I could to help with the Teacher Training Programme. Shortly afterwards I was thrilled to be invited to become the Volunteer Education Advisor for the programme. I now work with the team in Elmina to design and deliver the Training of Trainers, going out to Ghana three or four times a year to support the delivery.

Best Sabre moment?

When a teacher stood up during the training and said ‘This was very hard work at the beginning but now the children learn for themselves’.
