The Fast-track Transformational Teacher Training (FTTT) team held their last Training of Trainers workshop with the established OLA College of Education trainers last week. This group of trainers have now completed three years on the programme and have all the skills needed to independently continue to deliver training to future cohorts of student teachers.

This Training of Trainers workshop helped to prepare them for the final training of the year for the student teachers, Intensive Training Workshop 3.

During the workshop the trainers go through the training scripts with the FTTT team to familiarise themselves with the content and also get the opportunity to practice their delivery of the scripts.

“We would have still liked the FTTT team to continue training us before we deliver every training workshop to the student teachers…we are however confident that we will be able to continue delivering training workshops to our student teachers.” (Abraham Annan, OLA Trainer)

The FTTT team would like to say a huge congratulations and well done to all of the trainers for the incredible amount of hard work and commitment they have shown over the last three years. The transformation that each of the trainers has made is astonishing. We wish them all the very best as they take on the challenge of fully running the student teacher training!
