For Red Nose Day 2015, the UK government provided £10 million, which included doubling all of the money raised by schools across the UK, so that twice as many children could gain access to essential learning.

We are one of many projects putting that cash to work, improving the quality of education across Africa and building brighter futures for thousands of children. We were thrilled to host Pussy Cat Doll turned TV presenter and MasterChef, Kimberly Wyatt, in Ghana earlier this month, when she came to visit classrooms on our teacher training programme and see how our projects are transforming the lives of thousands of the youngest Ghanaians.

The visit was made possible by Comic Relief, which is funding the second phase of our teacher training programme in the Central Region. Over the next two years 265 teachers will receive an intensive programme of training, which will in turn give 2,400 children the best possible start to their education.

We hope you enjoy watching!
