We are excited to share a ground-breaking new report featuring our teacher training work in Ghana. The “Global Report on Early Childhood Care and Education: The Right to a Strong Foundation” was co-published by UNESCO and UNICEF and launched on 17th June at UNESCO headquarters in Paris.

This report highlights the importance of early childhood care and education (ECCE). It provides valuable insights, new findings, and recommendations to improve ECCE worldwide. It also includes case studies from different countries, showing how they have provided quality ECCE. Notably, it highlights Ghana’s two years of free, compulsory kindergarten and Sabre’s work supporting its implementation on page 59, Box 4: “How play-based curricula and pedagogies can enhance the learning of foundational skills (Ghana).”
