Abigail Gough
Fudraising Manager
Abigail was introduced to Sabre in 2011 by a former Trustee. She started assisting with fundraising and travelled to Ghana for ten weeks working as an intern in the Sabre office in Elmina. During this trip, Abigail won a place with the Vodaphone World of Difference Programme, which funded her first few months with Sabre, eventually leading to a full-time position. Abigail works across Sabre’s fundraising activities, including trusts and foundations, grants, and individual giving.

Katie Coles
Fundraising Manager
Katie spent two years with the teacher training team in Ghana before joining the UK fundraising team as a Fundraising Officer in November 2015. Katie specialises in coordinating events, writing grant applications, and securing funding for Sabre’s projects in Ghana.

Adrian Emanuel
Communications Manager
Adrian has over ten years’ experience managing communications for international NGOs. He progressed from Communications Officer to Communications Consultant at international anti-corruption NGO Global Witness, and has also held roles at Africa Educational Trust and the Baobab Centre. Adrian is the founder of a social enterprise recording studio and record label in Guinea Conakry called Jambulance Movement Records, and is a professional documentary film-maker and editor.
