Kwasi Kufour
Director of Finance & Administration

Kwasi joined Sabre in April 2021. He is a qualified accountant with significant experience at senior management level in the charity sector. He has extensive experience in project accounting, charity financial reporting, donor reporting, and success in designing and implementing accounting system improvements and controls.

Prior to joining Sabre, Kwasi had over 20 years’ experience working in the UK finance sector. He was Finance Director at the China Dialogue Trust in the UK where he was responsible for the financial management of the UK and overseas programmes, and also worked for the Citizens Advice Bureau and the YMCA.

Kwasi holds Masters’ degrees in International Accounting and Finance and Charity Accounting.

Edith Anoku
HR Manager

Edith joined Sabre in August 2022. She is responsible for leading and directing the functions of the Human Resources department including hiring and interviewing staff, supporting with payroll management, and upholding company policies and practices. Prior to working with Sabre, Edith worked as a HR Manager with a savings and loans company for over 9 years.

Benson Tetteh
Finance Manager

Benson joined Sabre in November 2022 after working at Chance for Children, Jumia Ghana, and Metro Mass Transit Ltd. This diverse experience in the private and non-profit sectors developed Benson’s skills in fund & treasury management, and financial policy & controls. Benson`s role as Finance Manager involves liaising with the team to ensure the integrity of Sabre Financial records. He manages stakeholder relationships, such as with the Revenue Authority and auditors, and is responsible for budget preparation and monitoring, policy guidelines, and treasury management. Benson is a member of the ICAG, and has a degree in Accounting and Finance from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

Anastasia Mensah
Senior Finance Officer

Anastasia joined Sabre as Finance and Administration Officer in 2017. Prior to that, she volunteered with the Finance Department during school breaks. Anastasia holds an MBA in Accounting from the University of Cape Coast, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting) from University of Education, Winneba.

Daniel Kyei
Finance Officer

Daniel joined Sabre Education in December 2022. He has experience in auditing, and across many other sectors of the Finance industry. Daniel is responsible for raising purchase orders, making payments, and entering payment data into the accounting system.

Gertrude Awuku
Administration Officer

Gertrude joined Sabre in March 2022 as a Temporary Administrator for three months and later joined as a permanent staff member after her appraisal in July 2022. Gertrude handles the administrative, procurement, and IT Units of the organisation and is responsible for all programme and training logistics. Prior to joining Sabre, Gertrude had over 10 years’ experience working in the Human Resource, Customer Care and Administrative fields. She worked as a Human Resource Officer at Tech Mahindra, and as a Customer Care Executive at Cedar Medical Plaza in Accra.
Gertrude holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Cape Coast, and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management, Ghana (ACIHRM).

Robert Nii Nai
Logistics Assistant

Robert started working with Sabre in September 2019. Before joining the organisation, Robert was an artisan woodworker, and worked as a Field Supervisor and Estimator for Melgrip Company Limited in Tema, Accra.

Salifu Bukari
Logistics Assistant

Salifu joined Sabre as a project driver in 2014 after working at the Ghana Education Service. He is now based in Winneba and has experience working with teachers and educational professionals as a Logistics Assistant.

Thomas Agyare
Logistics Assistant

Thomas joined sabre in May 2016. He drives Sabre employees and stakeholders on official errands, ensuring safety and adherence to driving regulations at all times. Thomas also provides office assistance to the Administrative Manager, Accounts Office and training support for the Programs Team at various districts when required. He supported the Building Better Schools (BBS) department in constructing six kindergarten buildings in Western and Central regions.

Before joining Sabre, Thomas was an Accountant and Driving instructor at Ultimate Driving Institute for seven years. He holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting from the University of Cape Coast.

Maxwell Anim
Logistics Assistant

Maxwell joined Sabre Education in December 2019 as driver, and after a year became Logistics Assistant. Maxwell holds a degree in Automotive Engineering and assists in vehicle maintenance, having previously completed the national service at the Driver Vehicle License Authority.
