This week our teacher of the week is Abigail Duke Doe from Dominase M/A. We have chosen Abigail as only last year she was a mentee on the programme and already in her first year as a newly qualified teachers she is excelling. We asked Abigail how the programme has helped to prepare her to take charge of her own classroom for the first time.

“As a former mentee (student teacher) who has only been on the programme for a year I have had to work harder to meet my goals. The programme is not an easy one but through determination and hard work it has brought me far. The programme has helped the children of Dominase M/A and has brought improvement on their lives.”

We are thrilled to see Abigail doing so well. Her classroom has quickly become an excellent example of what all the teachers on the programme should be aiming for, an amazing start to Abigail’s teaching career!
