I spent two years with the wonderful teacher training team in Ghana before deciding it was time to get back to city life – but thankfully not time to leave Sabre! I joined the UK fundraising team as a Fundraising Officer in November 2015 and have loved seeing a completely different side to Sabre’s work. No day is the same here, one day I may be helping to organise an 8 day cross country triathlon and the next writing a grant application to secure funding for all of the amazing projects in Ghana.

Funniest Sabre moment?

Discovering that many of the Ghana team are scared of snakes when some plastic toys were donated and I spent the week hiding a toy snake in everyone’s desk drawers…sorry team, but we did get some fantastic videos of you all!
