Sabre UK

As a development professional with more than 15 years’ experience in the public and private sectors, as well as in the charity, donor, and research fields, I am thrilled to join Sabre Education as a Trustee.

I currently work as a Programme Director at Big Win Philanthropy, based in London. Prior to this I worked as Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) Ghana’s Senior Policy and Implementation Manager and earlier as the Head of Programmes for British Council.

With a passion for supporting government systems to leverage data for decision making, I have a strong interest in charting a course for human capital development. With a specific focus on Early Childhood Development (ECD) and Education, I have successfully supported the co-creation of evidence to expand the body of knowledge of ECD in developing countries.

On a policy level, I was part of the core team in Ghana that developed the National Kindergarten In-service Teacher Training Framework in 2016 and, most recently, the Guidelines for the Early Childhood Education Policy Implementation Plan.

As a Trustee, I look forward to utilising my experience to support Sabre in furthering its goals and scaling its impact.
