We are delighted to share and celebrate with you our very first Head teacher of the month from the Central Region. Mrs. Geraldine M. Blankson is the Head teacher of Amisano Catholic School. Mrs Blankson has regular attendance to workshops, offers valuable contributions and demonstrates impeccable commitment to seeing the effective implementation of the Teacher Training  programme in her school.

Mrs Blankson said: “Early Childhood Education is the pivot and foundation of formal education to everyone of school going age. The introduction of the Sabre Trust programme in my school has had a great impact on the kindergarten children’s learning. The activity based nature of the programme provides children the opportunity to enjoy learning through play. Aside the programme increasing the motivation of my teachers, other teachers are being inspired by the programme. The coming in of the programme has broadened my knowledge in Early Childhood Education and has also increased enrolment in the kindergarten department. The classroom set up is very attractive and conducive for children’s learning. Parents are now becoming more active and showing more appreciation towards their children’s education”

Mrs. Blankson has also been sharing key concepts from the Teacher Training programme  like ‘We are all learners’ and ‘The 5Cs-Confidence, Communication, Cooperation, Curiosity and Concentration’, beyond the Kindergarten department.
